By many, this hawk is also called the Marsh Hawk. I have seen a Harrier in Big Meadows in the fall for the last 3 years.
I found this Northern Harrier in Big Meadows at the SNP. I tried to anticipate his flight pattern many times in 4 days . I finally guessed correctly and got on the bright side of him as he attempted to catch a mouse.
